cooperation with international universities, scientific institutions, agencies, and organizations for scientific development, is of central importance for our future development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The progress of any university depends on its openness toward society and toward the world. By cultivating such openness and exchanging our teaching staff, scientists, and students, with partners around the globe, our University gets to observe its goals and achievements from a fresh perspective. When it comes to global standards of scientific conduct and academic excellence, it is through travel and international partnerships that we experience them for ourselves, and then implement them at our university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This mindset lies at the heart of our fruitful participation in various bilateral and multilateral research programs, student exchange programs, and initiatives for researcher and teacher mobility, all of which include guaranteed scholarships. Finally, it is this mindset that brings us closer to the ideals of scientific responsibility, growth and intellectual courage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Rijeka supports all forms of international cooperation, and puts particular emphasis on fostering international collaboration in the areas where, up to now, there had been none.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uniri.hr\/en\/yufe\/yufe-young-universities-for-the-future-of-europe\/\">YUFE \u2013 Young Universities for the Future of Europe<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE)<\/strong> network is a <strong>strong strategic partnership<\/strong> of young, research-intensive universities from various European countries.
