The QA policy of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka is in line with the mission, vision and goals defined in the Faculty’s strategy for the period 2018-2022.
The Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka supports the development of a QA culture at all levels of its activity by:
- Evaluating and improving the QA system in accordance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area, as well as national, university and faculty criteria
- Promoting the active participation of all organizational units, external stakeholders and students in taking responsibility for quality in education, research, public function and organization
- Developing study programs and lifelong learning programs based on scientific research and in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and the needs of the labor market
- Guaranteeing a high level of achieved learning outcomes continuous promotion of excellence, interdisciplinarity and innovation, as well as enhancing and linking teaching, scholarly research and professional work
- Creating a stimulating environment at the Faculty with emphasis on academic honesty, ethics and civic responsibility, as well as caring for vulnerable and underrepresented groups and ensuring equal opportunities for all staff and students
- Promoting gender equality and inclusion, accepting diversity and promoting the dignity of every human being
- Active scientific research and professional participation of the Faculty in the development of the city, region and the Republic of Croatia systematic
- Monitoring of quality indicators of all areas of activity and revision of the Quality Policy and Strategy of the Faculty.
