Application form for cooperation of ALUMNI members and faculty.
Based on the proposal of the Initiative Committee and the consent of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Rijeka, on December 3th, 2009, on December 18th, 2009, the Club of Graduated Students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Rijeka was founded (Alumni Club of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka – today as the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka).
The Alumni Association is a non-profit association of citizens, which promotes activities in the field of construction. It represents a voluntary, non-political, non-party, non-governmental association, whose membership and members’ rights are conditioned exclusively by the common interests of the members.
The Alumni community of former students of our Faculty contributes significantly to the creation and maintenance of relations between current and former students, and the Faculty itself. Through cooperation and connection with our colleagues, through the exchange of experience and knowledge, we directly encourage the personal development of each of us. At the same time, we are working to improve the economy and the entire community. At the same time, we introduce students to the possibilities that are offered to them after completing their studies, and bring them closer to the theoretical and practical, and at the same time contribute to the half-century-old tradition of studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka. In the desire to better stimulate the creativity of our students in cooperation with the economy and better mutual communication, the Alumni Association and the Careers Office of the Faculty of Civil Engineering organize events aimed at empowering Alumni members and the wider community.
In this regard, we kindly ask you to briefly fill out the form (3-5 minutes) in the form of future cooperation between Alumni members and the faculty. Feel free to forward the link to the form above to your colleagues, former students of your generation, in order to contribute to the expansion of our Alumni community, thereby strengthening mutual cooperation.

Objectives of the Alumni community
- encouraging and maintaining the community of members of the Alumni community on the basis of maintaining the traditional values of studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Rijeka
- cooperation and encouragement of business and other connections of members of the Alumni community for general well-being and well-being of individual members of the Alumni community and the Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Rijeka
- ensuring access to and exchange of business and other information for the general well-being and well-being of individual members of the Alumni community and the Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Rijeka
- providing assistance to Alumni community members in various forms
- participation in programs organized by the Alumni community in terms of professional and general improvement of relations between members of the Alumni community
- professional and social connection with related organizations in order to improve the work of the Alumni community
- cooperation in the implementation of teaching
- other activities aimed at improving the work of the Alumni community, the Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Rijeka and the community. Any adult able-bodied person who has completed one of the study programs of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka can become a member of the Alumni community.
The possibility of access to all Alumni members’ Coursera contents through the UNIRI – Coursera online platform
The University of Rijeka, on the basis of an agreement concluded with Coursera – a global platform for online learning, provides its students and employees, and from now on also Alumni of the University of Rijeka, access to Coursera’s content through the UNIRI – Coursera online platform.
Through the Basic plan, each member of the Rijeka academic community has the right to enroll in one course per year and, upon successful completion, obtain a certificate free of charge. The basic plan provides access to the Coursera for Campus catalog (C4C), which contains over 6.000 courses, guided projects and quizzes from the world’s leading universities and relevant companies from the industry, and all programs are created in accordance with market requirements and user feedback, and enable personal and business development competence and skill. Interested Alumni members are invited to fill out the request form for granting access to the UNIRI – Coursera online platform via this link, following which they will be sent a UNIRI – Coursera invitation to access the contents of the Basic Plan.
